I made a list lol. I did a street team survey for my local radio, that ended up taking me almost 2 hours to complete (kept thinking "it's almost over it's almost over"). I was drained, but at least it helped me determine just how many bands I really despise. And I can't stand the "emo" sound. I thought there was only a couple of bands that made all the songs I realized I hated. Turns out it's more like 18 or so. I think it's more the vocals and lyrics, but still... ( and yes, I realize not all those are 'emo') #1: Linkin Park My all-time 'can't stand' award goes to them. And the rest of these have at least one song that turns my stomach: Blink 182 Fall Out Boy Smashing Pumpkins (yeah, really don't like their sound) Yellow Card All-American rejects Lost Prophets Used Hawthorne Heights Taking Back Sunday Box Car Racer New found Glory Story of the Year Sugarcult A.F.I. Oasis Dashboard Confessional And...My Chemical Romance (sorry Bill, never liked Helena) That's it! Feel free to curse the ground I walk on lol.  |

I pretty much agree with most of those except the Pumpkins (for some reason, they were my favorite band as a teen), and even though Liam's an ass, I do like Oasis. Only My Chemical Romance song I like is Black Parade.
People will think I'm nuts on here, but I love Daughtry. I think it's his voice, he's one of the only American Idols I actually like as an artist besides Kelly.

None of those bands really ever grabbed me either. I couldn't get into Smashing Pumpkins at all. Can't stand Billy Corgan's voice. If you want to hear something funny, listen to the comedian Stephen Lynch do his song called "what if the guy from Smashing Pumpkins lost his car keys".

I am the stand alone Pumpkins fan I guess Billy's one of those singers where either you like his voice or you don't, it seems. I like the early stuff the best. |

I had to come here to update some of this stuff lol.
I put The Used on that list, but I LOVE that new song The Bird and the Worm. They used to have the whole song on their Myspace, now they just have a clip though. That's a big Myspace pet peeve of mine.
Also I put that I don't like My Chemical Romance, however their new song, Famous Last Words...love it.
And Mike...would you happen to have a link or something to that Stephen Lynch song? I tried looking for it, no luck yet.
